Due to a most unfortunate cut in the budget of this public zoo... alternatives to real animal specimens have been replaced by animals made out of straw, paintings, etc... The curators still supply all visitors with all of the most recent information of the animal depicted (eating and mating habits, favorite hobbies, least favorite trait in any species, etc...). Animal bites to children and other over zealous zoo visitors have gone down considerably.
